Since we released our debut album, East of Alexandria, we have been steadily increasing our profile. We were nominated for the Fatea Magazine Debut Album of 2015, made The Telegraph Top Folk Albums of 2015, performed on Main Stage 2 at Cambridge Folk Festival alongside Sam Kelly and the Lost Boys, La Vent du Nord and Wildwood Kin, added to an increasing list of respected festivals at which we have played.
We are now preparing to release our next project; our first Traditional EP and we are very excited about it.
This EP comprises a set of traditional songs collected during the period of recording our debut album East of Alexandria and which have been played alongside those album tracks. Some of these songs have a long, rich history and they have existed in different guises under various names. This collection has been named for an older variant of Lady Isabel and the Elf Knight – ‘The Outlandish Knight’.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the release of the EP, by joining us at St. Andrew’s Church, Kinson, Bournemouth, on Saturday the first of April at 7pm. We have invited our friend Emily Mae Winters down from Cambridge to promote her debut album as well so it will be a good evening of music for you.
Tickets are £12 on the door, on the night or you can purchase yours here for £10 with no booking fee.
Once you have purchased your ticket, we will add your names to the guest list and look forward to seeing you in April.
